The interior of this apartment caters to the meticulous nature of its owner — an adult man who appreciates attention to detail. The apartment serves as a complete world with its own unique order, shaped by the owner's habits and daily rituals. As designers, we enjoyed the challenge of satisfying the demands of such a discerning client. And we restored the atmosphere of his life from the beginning. The kitchen takes center stage in this interior, as the owner has a passion for cooking and possesses extensive knowledge of wine and meat. With frequent gatherings of friends, we strategically positioned a large marble table as the centerpiece of the living room.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
After sunset, the interior takes on a new character. To maintain the desired atmosphere, we made the decision to conceal the door and eliminate any distracting accents, creating an uninterrupted flow. The use of granite flooring and concrete walls create comfort for a strong-willed owner. To assert his authority in the space, a large and commanding sofa takes center stage.
The owner sets priorities on his territory by himself. And multiple light sources help him with that. At the heart of the house, we placed a modern yet symbolically significant fireplace. It looks quite modern, but is still associated with the original fire.
DETAILS
The bathroom received special attention, considering it is the first place the man visits in the morning and where he draws his energy. We focused on creating a sense of depth and openness to fulfill his natural desire for freedom.
