The initial plan of the apartment looked like a rather boring and "stiff" decision. With the analogy of the
movement of chess pieces - it is possible to walk with a horse only. This association works vividly while taking a closer look at the parameters of the apartment and imagining how limited you are allowed to move within the given limits of the corridor system. Our first task was to "free" the movement, to make it more creative. The new interior should encourage contact and communication, be harmonious tool for a full of endless moves and combinations game.
ABOUT PROJECT
This is how the new logic of the planning decision and... the glass cube appeared - which combines a high-tech function and creates a new space. We put a kitchen in it. The kitchen is assigned with special attention not by chance - with dressing it in a cube and highlighting the inner atmosphere, we created the effect of a fashionable "laboratory" of taste, modern kitchen as a performance.
Pass-through glass partition on the side of the living room, living area and additional entrance from the side of the hall (for the convenience of loading the
kitchen and the possibility its use by a cook) are optimal options for comfortable "living" in various life situations.
ABOUT PROJECT
The center of the elegant living room was a table from the Italian factory Potocco, the new decoration of which was developed by Materia174 designers specially for this interior. The factory liked the result so much that such a combination of decorations was included in a standard, and photos of the interior were added to the catalog and to the site of the factory.
DETAILS
The hostess's office-workshop was placed next to the entrance. The implementation of creative tasks requires a conducive atmosphere which facilitates harmonious process. In this case, as a relaxing background we chose a calm celadon shade of green, and a long marble windowsill serves as a place of strength (for concentrated meditations).
PROCESS
The project was implemented in our favorite format of cooperation: the customers were present at the construction site for only three times. Six months have passed from the moment we met and before the owners moved into the apartment. In the last 2.5 months, the owners did not appear at the facility at all, so not to spoil the "wow effect", and at the time of the delivery they were impressed. According to their words, we fully lived up to expectations.
