This is the interior of the house designed by us, which is located in a latitude with plenty of scorching sun and heat. While almost the whole year the main environment is burnt monochrome land, it was decided to make rich and contrasting interior. On the association of shadows, like coolness - oasis in a desert.
PLANNING DECISION
The entire first floor of the building is occupied by a common area. The long L-shaped part of the house is assigned to a group of living room with a table. In a short part we placed a kitchen with an access to the garage. Second floor - it is a private bedroom area. Walls facing the courtyard are fully glazed from floor to the ceiling on both floors. Huge glazing elements are able to move apart, combining the interior with courtyard when the weather permits and the context requires.

The front door is a fetish in Israeli houses. Higher, wider, further and stronger - it's about them. We allocated them a two-light space of the stair hall and lined with decoration flush by the wall level, creating a feeling of their special full size.

Massive dense curtains functionally replace external blinds, which is necessary for the climate in this latitude, and decoratively soften a large amount of concrete in the interior.
PLACE OF A DREAM
Modern cuisine has no boundaries. The first thing that I definitely want to note is its size - the factories are all competing as one for who has the upper hand at
the door width, who will have the higher shelf and the longer island. Why? Today kitchen is not a "dirty zone", but a place of culinary performance, which means
its owner must feel himself on a stage.
