Interior of a house for a young family, located in the prestigious cottage village neighborhood with houses of 500 square meters and more. Children do not need such a large area, so the task was to optimize the space while ensuring the house doesn't get lost in the background of its grand neighbors. The central element of its architecture is the portal, connecting the common areas with the private ones, as well as the exterior with the interior, the sky with the earth. It served as the starting point for the project.
PLANNING DECISION
The central two-light portal both divides and unites the residential and common areas simultaneously. It was decided to place the kitchen between the living room and the dining area. Despite its considerable size and functionality, here it resembles more of a bar where you can relax while waiting for the table to be prepared. Everything in this house unfolds effortlessly and seamlessly, with spaces and functions flowing into one another. The thoroughness of some objects is buoyed by the levity of their pair.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Technically, the photo depicts a corridor that encompasses the entrance node, a wardrobe for outerwear near the entrance, and passages leading to the living room and private sleeping areas, children's and the bathroom areas as well.
In fact, we have transformed this corridor into a two-world portal, introducing an entirely new dimension to the house. Once you step inside, the space interacts with you, refreshes and inspires you. Here is a place of silence - nothing distracts you from yourself. It offers a fleeting connection with nature, providing you with air, light, color, and space. When? Anytime you walk to one of the rooms or head to the kitchen for a cup of tea. Is it important? In my opinion, it is. Such an experience adds a whole new level of quality to everyday life.
