The owners of the apartment expressed their desire for a modern and functional interior that suits their dynamic lifestyle. They wanted a design that falls somewhere between a "design studio", "high-tech", and a space for personal relaxation. To highlight the main priorities of the housewife, who takes on multiple roles such as a wife, a young mother, and a professional asserting her independence (believing that a woman's place is not solely in the kitchen), a decision was made not to have a separate kitchen space in the house.
PLANNING DECISION
Continuing along the path of the anti-culinary movement, the design bureau selected the renowned kitchen brand Bulthaup, known for its impeccable kitchen furniture and functional concepts of concealed kitchens since the 1950s. The kitchen design features sliding and folding doors that hide away all utensils, seamlessly integrating the kitchen modules with the living room furniture. Only smooth dull facades in beautiful expensive finishes remained visible.
DETAILS
Natural lighting plays a significant role in this design, as it tells the story of the house. It enters through the glass doors, sliding along a necklace of wall lamps, transforming the space into an organic communication center where family members can relax, interact, and entertain guests. Throughout the project, we have carefully considered different levels of lighting, each serving its own purpose: frontal lighting, eye-level lighting, relaxation lighting, and self-care lighting.
The ability to integrate multiple levels of lighting into a single space provides it with new embodiments. For instance, in the bathroom, spotlights can be used to create a luminous wall that resembles a shimmering curtain during nighttime.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
In the beautifully designed bedroom, adorned with soft powder and blue tones, the theme of diamond magnificence is also visible. The sense of luxury is enhanced by upholstering the walls with gentle textile panels, which wrap the room in natural fabrics and pastel shades.
The modernistic lamps harmoniously blend with the enduring style, which is characterized by a minimalist approach. This is the answer to modern consumer demand - to retreat from the bustling city life and spend quality time alone or with each other.
