The master area, children's area, household rooms, and kitchen-dining room are located on the first floor, while the second floor is completely devoted to the open space of the owner's office-workshop, which seamlessly flows into the living room with a fireplace area. Additionally, there is a home spa corner with access to an open terrace.

PLANNING DECISION

The kitchen-dining room is located along the stairs that lead to the second floor. The primary focus of this space is not just the act of cooking, but rather the atmosphere it creates for communication. Cooking itself is of secondary importance, almost an incidental aspect. The area features a spacious dining table where participants can choose their preferred spot for engaging in conversations. Additionally, there is a kitchen elevator communication system on the second floor to conveniently serve food to the living room.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The apartment owner frequently works from home, using a laptop, and thus requires multiple suitable areas for such work. The second floor is completely devoted to a multifunctional space. It serves as a meeting spot for team negotiations, a testing laboratory for electronics, and during evenings or weekends, it transforms into a lively living room and a socializing area for friends, often used for parties.

The style and decor of the apartment are influenced by its dual function as a home office. In order to highlight the room's versatility, textiles on the windows have been completely omitted. Instead, large shutters with blinds are used to maintain the microclimate and enhance the loft-like atmosphere.

MATERIA 174

In recent years, there has been a trend in design where spaces previously associated with retail, hospitals, and offices are being transformed into environments that prioritize neutrality, sensitivity, and sensuality. The focus is on creating spaces that are not only creative and protective but also friendly, ultimately aiming to enhance the quality of life. In this particular project, our client took it a step further by bringing the office environment into their own home.

DETAILS

The guest bathroom area is designed to make a strong impression while also inspiring guests. It serves as a continuation of the computer game experience that begins in the living room.
