LOCATION KHARKIV
YEAR 2018
AREA 210,45
The house is situated on the picturesque shores of the Pecheneg Reservoir, nestled in a hilly area named after the ancient nomadic Pecheneg tribes that inhabited the land during the 9th-10th centuries. The architects aimed to seamlessly integrate the house into the surrounding natural landscape. It serves as a cottage for a young family, providing a space for relaxation, harmony with nature, children's play, and lively barbecues with numerous friends.

PLANNING DECISION

Under the extended roof that is beyond the building, you will find the living area, terrace, and utility rooms. The rhythmic walls, with relatively narrow windows, elegantly frame the panoramic view of the pine forest. The cruciform stylobate design opens up the space and connects the house with the entrance hall area and pool. At the intersection, there is a cozy covered terrace, providing a comfortable vantage point to immerse oneself in the ambiance of the surroundings.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The variety of interior spaces contrasts with simplicity of an external volume. A sloping roof in combination with light windows give the house a sculptural appearance.
