Yalta Embankment, designed by us, is considered a unique country house for a family. It serves as a place where children spend their summer holidays under the supervision of their grandmothers, and the hosts also visit on weekends. Our challenge was to accommodate three bedrooms in a small area while ensuring ample space for common gatherings.
DETAILS
In this living room, we have created a complete sense of being "at sea". The colors, lighting, textures, and shutters all contribute to keeping you connected to the wonderful weather, the warm summer breeze, and the dazzling smoothness of the water.
PLANNING DECISION
On the first floor, there is a common area with access to a spacious balcony, where you can enjoy breakfast or relax when the entire family gathers on the terrace. The living room is designed to be compact yet provides ample seating for all guests in the house. Additionally, there is a master suite featuring a spacious bedroom and bathroom.
On the second floor, you will find a children's room, a guest room, and a spacious terrace that wraps around the house on three sides. This unique terrace design allows for different functional zones based on the position of the sun and the anticipated time of use throughout the day.

The glass bathroom-workshop is full of air and light. That's right zoning plan will allow you to be alone or enjoy company of each other depending on the context.

The compact guest room, spanning only 11 square meters, manages to accommodate a full-size double bed and a lounge area, providing privacy and comfort to its residents. Adding a touch of irony, the wardrobe takes the form of multiple suitcases, serving as storage space for the guests while emphasizing their sense of travel and adventures.

During the design of the terrace, it is crucial to consider its orientation towards the sun and conduct calculations regarding the movement of shadows during both summer and winter. It's essential to think ahead about the storage of furniture and equipment during the off-season.
